Sandra and Samuel live with their blind son Daniel in a remote mountainous area. Samuel is found dead outside their home, and the investigation into his death reveals suspicious circumstances. With all the mystery and uncertainty, Sandra is charged with murder. But was Samuel really a victim of a crime or did he commit suicide? A year later, Daniel is the sole witness at his mother’s trial, which becomes a real dissection of his parents’ relationship.

A murder psychothriller turned courtroom drama. The fine-tuned directing implies that even families who appear perfect have their own dramas and issues.
