Young Song Ha arrives in Budapest from Vietnam to find out more about her grandmother Thien’s mysterious past. Viktor, a Hungarian man, meets Song and he is swept off his feet, convinced she is the love of his life.

Song’s grandmother’s story is told in flashback. Thien is a young Vietnamese student who falls in love with Tibor, the cutest guy at university. Although Vietnam makes sure that no Vietnamese students remain abroad, Thien and Tibor’s love proves to be stronger.
